Walk Towards The Light!

In an effort to not make anyone upset or angry I want you the reader of this blog post to know that this post talks about God. I make mention of this before you get to far into the reading of this post because I do not want to upset you in any way. I state unequivocally that I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Life is about choices and this is what I choose to believe just as you are free to believe whatever you desire. 

Life is difficult because it contains within it tragedy and suffering. Everyone that is born will also someday die making life fatal for all of us. None of us will live forever in this form and there is no telling for certain how much time any of us have left. Now this is the harsh reality to which we cannot change. The question becomes where do we go from there? Okay, I have planted a flag that depicts what life certainly is. The real question becomes what do you intend to do about it? If you want it to be worse you can easily make it become that but we must focus on making it better. Of course then the question is how do you intend to make it better? There is something required to make it better and that is a burning desire to do so backed by persistence and faith. All of us have irrefutable choice to decide if we want to focus on negativity or positivity.

 However, in this piece of writing we will focus on how to make our lives better because time spent on figuring out how to make it worse is an utter waste of time unless you believe in adding more non peace to your life and that your life needs to include more pain and suffering. My recommendation to making life better is to start somewhere. We cannot get to the finish line unless we start and although this may not be a complete answer it is better than having no answer and to just drift aimlessly out at sea.

A great place to start in my opinion is combine two powerful forces which are faith and gratitude. This can be done by being grateful to God to be alive, to be a child of God, and maintaining the belief that we can do all things through his strength. Now at this point we must ask what that gratefulness to God to be alive and to be a child of God means for our life? A great way to begin this conversation is to remember who you are. You are made by God, a child of God magnificently created, and have God in you. Each of us has a spirit and a soul. If I am to say with sincerity that I am grateful to God to be alive and to be a child of God then I must think and act like a believer because God is an integral part of my life. 

I believe in God as the creator of life, Jesus as my savior and The Holy Spirit as my counselor. How does God want me to think and act?  If I love God and believe in God then I must act in accordance with values and high standards. God desires that I honor, obey and please Him. The best way to honor and please God is to have a relationship with God , pray to Him, love Him, become the best possible version of you, and serve others.

The best possible version of me has a great attitude and is always seeking to become better while maintaining a high performance positive mindset. If I do not think and act in a certain way that is pleasing to God and honor him then I am lying when I say that I am grateful to God for life and to be a Child of God. A child of God thinks, speaks, behaves and acts like a child of God. If we strive each day to become better while having mindfulness of God it will lead us to self awareness and great wisdom. Life is cause and effect. If we do what is pleasing to God we are rewarded and if we do what is not pleasing to God our life will be much worse and eventually turn into bloody hell. 

Wake up each day and say I am grateful to God to be alive and to be a child of God. Then ask How can I make today better? How do I want to express myself today? When challenged during the day with the challenges that every day presents ask yourself what God wants you to do before responding. One may ask why do all this for God? If you are a person of faith and believe in God then you will act in accordance with his desires for your life and understand the penalty for not doing so. I am self aware consciously of this.

Love God but also use the fear of God to drive you towards His standards. This is not fear that produces a wall that you cannot climb but rather fear that will help you become better and not have your back against the wall or build one for yourself to which you cannot climb. This is the fear that will drive you to run from the darkness and into the light. If you must fear Gods wrath to gain a better life then by all means do so. My point is to do whatever you need to do to become enlightened so that you may escape the pain of living a life that will never connect you to the power of a higher source so that you can best serve and please the Lord.

Living out your days in gratefulness to God and serving Him in the best way possible will make your life better. Getting on the right road mentally with the proper attitude and mindset will get you to a better life. Our choice is to live a life disconnected from the vine that leads to being imprisoned by a limited mindset or to live a life connected to divinity which creates a mindset of unlimited potential. This helps greatly in answering the question how can my life be made better? Your life is made better when you answer the question what does God want me to do? He teaches us everyday to strive to win the prize of Heaven and to not live in hell on earth or for eternity. When we get our psychology right it helps greatly in getting our physiology right. Often times people will tell me how they prayed and nothing happened. The reason nothing happens is because they choose to stay negative while expecting a miracle.

We are governed by our mental health, physical health, and identity. Never forget who you are. You are a child of the most high God, magnificently created in his image and likeness. God lives in us and he gave his only son to save us from our sins along with granting whosoever believe in Him eternal life in heaven. However, like anything else we must pay the price. Life is very much about choices and this is a choice that we must make that requires accountability and responsibility. I have seen and experienced countless people whose mind has control over them rather them having control over their mind. Not all of these people are literally in prison but they are imprisoned anyway.

The blueprint of how to live life is laid out in the scriptures. Both the old and new testament are instructions to get to a better place while on earth and when our fleshly being ends. If you want to become a person of high standing in the eyes of God and society then grow in your relationship with God by being genuinely grateful to Him, walking with him and  by thinking and acting in a certain way that makes Him and others happy. Ask yourself how you would treat someone you love and then treat God, yourself ,and others with kindness and compassion. Nothing will change in your life in a positive way unless you desire for it to change in a positive way. It is up to you to put the work in so that you may experience a great result and reach the highest level of happiness which is fulfillment. Fulfillment comes by allowing God to work through you in helping, serving, and contributing to the needs of others. 

If you have been a believer in God for a long time you will know exactly what to do. Grow in your faith, grow in your knowledge of  scripture, allow your relationship with God to expand, seek to become the best version of yourself possible and contribute to causes greater than you. Your reward in life is based on the value that you provide others. This requires you to expand so that you can help expand the lives of others through peace, joy, and love. 

As God lays his hand upon your heart you will have the power to make a positive impact. True blessings are only ever revealed to those that take the journey from their head to their heart. Those that think they can get rich by diluting others are sadly mistaken in the long term. If you are ever unsure as to what to do go to a quiet place and just listen to your heart. 

In order for abundance to come into your life you must provide abundance to others. For no-one that enriches others does not in some way receive rich blessings. Riches come in many forms. Allow God to make your mind right and everything else will just fall into place. 

What do you want your mind to be? Whatever your mind becomes you become. When you remember who you are, are mindful of your obligations as a child of God, and strive to become better you will not lose at this miraculous thing we call life. God will provide you with wealth, health, love, and happiness as long as your follow Him. He will make your mind that of peace and joy. He will make your body that of health. He will make your emotions that of love and compassion. 

If you let God take hold of your mind your mind will become that of perfection and everything else in your life will just fall into line because God is now living through you and He knows exactly what to do for you to have the best life possible. For there are a million roads you can take in your life but only one road will lead you to heaven on earth. Take the road to spiritual enlightenment and nothing will ever be able to stand in your way. God builds people to stand the mighty test of life. Put yourself in his hands and He will build you stronger than you could ever be on your own. You are the child of the Almighty who created man and the most sophisticated creation of the universe. There is no-one and nothing that knows you better than Him. 

Be Grateful to God, have faith, please God, honor God, combine your gratefulness and faith, love God, fear God, submit to God, remember who you are, and seek to make your life better. You are powerless without God and with him can move mountains. God has been with you your whole life waiting for you to say do with me what is your will to do. Say thank you God for life itself, thank you for allowing me to be your child, thank you for grace and mercy and do with me Lord what you desire because I am nothing without you and ready to be done by you.  Amen!
