You Are More Powerful Than You Think You Are!

We become trapped in our mind when we believe that our mind controls us because we do not know how to properly manage the most sophisticated creation of our universe which is the human brain. The human brain in action is the mind. However, we have an additional superpower and that is the ability to observe and be a witness to our mind or what we are thinking and feeling.. Developing a consciousness to our thoughts and emotions allows us to give power to the thoughts and emotions that serve us and to annihilate the thoughts and emotions that do not serve us. This is the power of consciousness to which science is still trying to figure out the origin. We are more than our mind. For we are the programmer and our mind is the program.

When I become conscious of a negative thought or emotion that comes into my mind I am now able to begin to observe it before it triggers a negative reaction. Once I begin to observe it, it quickly loses its power because there is a gap between it and my higher self or higher consciousness. At this point I realize that I do not have to identify with it and once a negative thought or emotion cannot make you identify with it all of its power is lost.

We have power over our minds which at times cannot stop thinking limiting beliefs, self doubt, anger, fear, and every possible form of negativity that was ever created. The superpower given to us of being able to evaluate what our mind is delivering to us with the knowledge and wisdom of true essence or being can take anyone to a much higher level of peace, joy, and love.

Of course absolute peace should not be our goal because to achieve that we must rest in peace but without a good amount of peace we cannot even eat properly and digest our food. The default of the human mind is survival and negativity. This is why people are addicted to the news. If one continues to watch the news over a long period of time they will find themselves completely defeated due to never ending negative messaging which programs our sub-conscious mind.

When I attained freedom from the chains of bondage that my mind was placing me in I told everyone around me that I was now free. They thought I had won the lottery but I knew that I had won something far greater.  As you continue to create this gap between your mind and the witnessing presence or observer within, your consciousness will get stronger. Thoughts are given energy when we identify with them and are deenergized when we know that we are not identified with bringing more non peace into our lives. This presence of knowing what serves us and what does not is in all of us. All we need to do is wake up.
