Thoughts Create Attitude

Thoughts Create Attitude

The way we think and feel along with what we say and do makes up our overall attitude. Our attitude shows up in the personality that we present and our personality becomes our reality because we attract to us exactly what we are on the inside. Our perspective is shaped by our attitude and our attitude shapes our overall mindset. "Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitude of mind." (William James).

A daily practice or routine that is effective in my life is to each day write down some words that I want my attitude to exemplify. I ask myself each morning how do I want to express myself to the Universe? Write down exactly the words that would describe what you want your attitude to be.

Here is an example:

Gratitude, Empathy, Accountability, Compassion, Kindness, Love, Honesty, Integrity, High Standards, Excellence, Persistence, Belief, Faith, Determination,  Responsibleness, Conscientiousness, Presence, Enthusiasm, Peaceful, Joyful, Helpful, Repentant, Congruent, Consistent, Resilient, Respectful, Confidence, Courage, and Effective Habits.

Our minds are programmed over a period of years or even decades so your program will not change overnight or without consistent practice. Become conscious of what you are thinking, feeling, saying, and doing because this is the program you are currently running in your mind.
