A Serious View On The Preciousness Of Time
With each and every second the clock on your life is ticking away. Once your time is up do you want to be known as someone who maximized their potential ? or someone that waited for life to just drop something great in their lap? It is important to not lose sight that a huge amount of people play the lotto but a very small percentage win. When you get to the end of your life do you want to feel like a loser or someone that maximized their life.
Remember at some point in time in the future on some date your time of death will be announced with certainty. This is why what you do with the small amount of time you have left matters. It matters because we get one life to live and our bodies cannot live forever. I am going to turn forty five in March and in the hospital I was born their was more than likely a doctor or nurse that was in their fifties and still healthy and vibrant. More than likely that person has now passed on.
I remember going with my grandmother as a young boy to visit my grandfathers burial site. Now I can go to the same burial site and visit my grandmother and grandfather. I hope this makes what I am saying more real especially to those that have the false belief that they are invincible and have unlimited time to just waste.
Seconds, minutes, days , months and years matter even if we do not think they do. For the true meaning of things do not change by our obstinacy but will rather amplify their meaning to at some point show who is really in charge. Our minds determine our destiny and if your present is not the way you want it to be then your future will not be either unless you do something different in some present moment in precious time.
